Multi-topography of Death Culture and the Norm of Completion of Life
Kim Hyeon-Cheol

Abstract
Depth is committed to all living all human being, as that reason death is the issue in the level of the culture and consciousness of community. Therefore, Death is the issue which the reflection and discussion of community is necessary rather than any other issues. In this paper, I would try to make sure the topography of different thoughts about death. And I am willing to grope for the possibility of coexistence of that different thoughts. In the process, I would try to introduce the concept of ¡°the completion of life : as the process of reaching death that must be the concern of our society in the perspective of norm. In this paper, I have asserted as follows. Firstly, the concern of legal norm should be expanded to the dying process and history from the final state of death. In this meaning, I think it good thing to legalize a living will system as the way of providing opportunity, not the way of regulation. Secondly, it is important for our community to lay down the social hospice system for the comfortable dying process of terminal patients. Thirdly, legal norms should make the condition of coexistence of different thoughts not enforcing the special view point of value. And, I think it necessary for legal norm to make the space and procedure of discourse about death among the relevant stake holders. Consequently, I Propose that the institution of hospital ethic committee is introduced in Korea.
